Analisis Hasil Double Side Friction Stir Welding pada Aluminium AA6061 dengan Penguat Serbuk Cu terhadap Struktur Mikro

Pengelasan Friction Stir Welding (FSW) adalah metode pengelasan sederhana, yaitu dengan memanfaatkan energi panas yang ditimbulkan dari gesekan shoulder tool material dilas. FSW sedang berkembang saat ini menambahkan serbuk pada daerah nugget untuk meningkatkan kemampuan las. Pada penelitian bertujuan mengetahui hasil secara foto makro dan mikro overlapping Double Side (DS-FSW) tembaga (Cu). Material digunakan aluminium kode AA6061 (Cu) dipilih sebagai bahan utama. Penambahan Cu diletak kan (single grove) (double grove). Proses DS-FSW menggunakan CnC milling parameter feed rate 80 mm/menit kecepatan putaran tools 1000 rpm. Pengamatan USB Digital Mikroskop, sedangkan pengamatan struktur Metallography optic. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa single grove double sama –sama mengalami cacat diantaranya tunnel defect, namun defect memiliki dimensi lebih besar grove. observasi distribusi overlap terletak para grove, hal tersebut terjadi karena letak pin berada simetris antara dua sudah terisi Cu, sehingga pengadukannya bisa merata.
